Empowering Nurses, Advancing Care: Theodore F. Prime Nursing Education Fund
This past Saturday, the Theodore F. Prime Nursing Education Fund helped make a meaningful impact on nursing professionals at Adirondack Health the fund supported the Education and Professional Development Council’s annual nursing conference, “Turning Leaves, Changing Lives,” held at the Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake.

With a full morning of learning, our clinicians shared expertise on vital topics including urology, palliative care, oncology, and strategies for supporting individuals with dementia both at home and in the workplace. Speakers Dr. Cristina Trutia, Sara Ames, Dr. Jonathan Riddell, and Jaclyn Farrington engaged attendees with practical knowledge and insights that will help improve patient care.
The event drew a strong turnout of 50 dedicated nurses and healthcare professionals, all eager to expand their skills and bring innovative approaches back to their work.
The Theodore F. Prime Nursing Education Fund is helping nurses grow in their knowledge and practice, ultimately benefiting every patient they serve. Every contribution to this fund directly supports educational opportunities that strengthen nursing practice and patient care in our community.
Together, we’re investing in nurses today to ensure healthier communities tomorrow.
