Endowments at Adirondack Health

Investing in the Future of Local Healthcare

Endowed funds are a powerful way to create a legacy and ensure Adirondack Health continues to provide exceptional care for generations to come. When you establish or contribute to an endowed fund, your gift is invested, and a portion of the earnings is used annually to support the purpose you care most about—while the principal remains intact to grow over time.

How Endowments Work

  • Minimum to Establish: $25,000
  • Payment Period: May be fulfilled over a period of up to five years
  • Activation: Funds cannot be used until the minimum opening balance is reached
  • Spending Policy: In accordance with the Adirondack Health Foundation’s investment policy, 4% of the fund’s average balance is available annually for use. Any unspent earrings will be invested into the fund for growth.
